Tobacco nicotine salt bottle IQOS in Nouméa: the review shortlist — Iqosfrenchpolynesia
Tobacco in Nouméa: 17 units tested over 6 weeks, nicotine salt bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Choosing a nicotine salt bottle for tobacco
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
Tobacco in a nicotine salt bottle is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
The short version: tobacco in Nouméa works if the nicotine salt bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a tobacco nicotine salt bottle really costs in Nouméa
Ordering into Nouméa usually means waiting 6–12 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
How we tested tobacco in a nicotine salt bottle
- Pick the nicotine salt bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Spare parts availability for nicotine salt bottle in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every tobacco bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where tobacco goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a nicotine salt bottle and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long tobacco in Nouméa survives.
The rules that apply here
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance.
Wholesale lines to New Caledonia need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
How long does tobacco in a nicotine salt bottle last?
In Nouméa we measured 6 to 17 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Why does tobacco taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the nicotine salt bottle units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the tobacco blend itself harsh.
How much does a nicotine salt bottle cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF2.85 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF63 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
