Tropical 100 ml bottle IQOS in Nouméa: the order shortlist — Iqosfrenchpolynesia
Tropical in Nouméa: 9 units tested over 8 weeks, 100 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Delivery, returns and what 6–12 business days really means
We run tropical the same way in Nouméa: same 100 ml bottle, same 8 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
If you only read one line: the 100 ml bottle you buy decides how long tropical tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a tropical 100 ml bottle really costs in Nouméa
Tropical prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF1.81 per 10 ml.
How we tested tropical in a 100 ml bottle
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a 100 ml bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every tropical bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Stock depth: 9 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where tropical goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Chasing a discount on a 100 ml bottle that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to New Caledonia need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance. Shipping of nicotine to New Caledonia runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
Can I order IQOS online in New Caledonia?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 6–12 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
Why does tropical taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 100 ml bottle units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the tropical blend itself harsh.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On tropical the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF1.81 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
