What the label on Tropical is allowed to say
The honest read on tropical: 21 units through the same routine over 7 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Tropical in Nouméa reaches the shelf in 60 ml bottle formats, and the pre-order ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
Below is the run we did for this search: 21 units, 60 ml bottle, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a tropical 60 ml bottle really costs in Nouméa
A tropical 60 ml bottle from the pre-order options in New Caledonia costs about XPF3.03 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested tropical in a 60 ml bottle
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Stock depth: 21 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Batch code and production date, so a tropical bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Spare parts availability for 60 ml bottle in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
Where tropical goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Chasing a discount on a 60 ml bottle that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Mixing tropical with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
