Tropical disposable vape IQOS in Nouméa: the review shortlist — Iqosfrenchpolynesia
Tropical in Nouméa: 12 units tested over 6 weeks, disposable vape formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
What the label on Tropical is allowed to say
We run tropical the same way in Nouméa: same disposable vape, same 6 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Most people searching IQOS in New Caledonia are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
If you only read one line: the disposable vape you buy decides how long tropical tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a tropical disposable vape really costs in Nouméa
We run tropical the same way in Nouméa: same disposable vape, same 6 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested tropical in a disposable vape
- Pick the disposable vape that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Stock depth: 12 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every tropical bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Batch code and production date, so a tropical bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a disposable vape arrives sealed but wrong.
Where tropical goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Ignoring the batch date on a disposable vape and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance.
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
