Tropical mesh tank IQOS in Nouméa: the online shortlist — Iqosfrenchpolynesia
Tropical in Nouméa: 11 units tested over 6 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How to tell a good mesh tank from a repack
Tropical sounds like one product. It is not: a mesh tank running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
We run tropical the same way in Nouméa: same mesh tank, same 6 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you only read one line: the mesh tank you buy decides how long tropical tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a tropical mesh tank really costs in Nouméa
Ordering into Nouméa usually means waiting 6–12 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
How we tested tropical in a mesh tank
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Coil type inside the mesh tank, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every tropical bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Batch code and production date, so a tropical bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where tropical goes wrong
- Treating the advertised XPF32 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.67 per 10 ml.
- Buying the cheapest mesh tank available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ignoring the batch date on a mesh tank and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
