Vanilla 100 ml bottle IQOS in Nouméa: the flat shortlist — Iqosfrenchpolynesia
Vanilla in Nouméa: 9 units tested over 6 weeks, 100 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
What the label on Vanilla is allowed to say
The honest read on vanilla: 9 units through the same routine over 6 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Vanilla prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF3.55 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the 100 ml bottle you buy decides how long vanilla tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.

How we tested vanilla in a 100 ml bottle
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Coil type inside the 100 ml bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a 100 ml bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
Where vanilla goes wrong
- Treating the advertised XPF43 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF3.55 per 10 ml.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long vanilla in Nouméa survives.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why vanilla tastes flat after two days.
