Vanilla box mod IQOS in Nouméa: the cheap shortlist
Vanilla in Nouméa: 12 units tested over 6 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
What the label on Vanilla is allowed to say
If you are looking at vanilla in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the box mod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Ordering into Nouméa usually means waiting 6–12 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
The short version: vanilla in Nouméa works if the box mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a vanilla box mod really costs in Nouméa
Vanilla prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF3.0 per 10 ml.
How we tested vanilla in a box mod
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Stock depth: 12 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Spare parts availability for box mod in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
Where vanilla goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a box mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Mixing vanilla with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Treating the advertised XPF63 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF3.0 per 10 ml.

Frequently asked questions
Can I order IQOS online in New Caledonia?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 6–12 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On vanilla the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF3.0 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
Why does vanilla taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the box mod units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the vanilla blend itself harsh.
