Vanilla mesh tank IQOS in Nouméa: the flat shortlist
Vanilla in Nouméa: 14 units tested over 9 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Choosing a mesh tank for vanilla
If you are looking at vanilla in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the mesh tank you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
A vanilla mesh tank from the flat-rate options in New Caledonia costs about XPF2.18 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
The short version: vanilla in Nouméa works if the mesh tank, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a vanilla mesh tank really costs in Nouméa
Vanilla mesh tank reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 14 units and 9 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested vanilla in a mesh tank
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a mesh tank arrives sealed but wrong.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where vanilla goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Treating the advertised XPF52 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.18 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here

New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance. Shipping of nicotine to New Caledonia runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
Can I order IQOS online in New Caledonia?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 6–12 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
How much does a mesh tank cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF2.18 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF52 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does vanilla taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the mesh tank units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the vanilla blend itself harsh.
