Vanilla pen device IQOS in Nouméa: the best shortlist — Iqosfrenchpolynesia
Vanilla in Nouméa: 8 units tested over 9 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
What the label on Vanilla is allowed to say
Vanilla prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.23 per 10 ml.
Vanilla pen device reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 8 units and 9 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Below is the run we did for this search: 8 units, pen device, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a vanilla pen device really costs in Nouméa
A vanilla pen device from the best options in New Caledonia costs about XPF2.23 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested vanilla in a pen device
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Spare parts availability for pen device in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pen device arrives sealed but wrong.
- Stock depth: 8 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every vanilla bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
Where vanilla goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest pen device available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Treating the advertised XPF34 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.23 per 10 ml.
- Ignoring the batch date on a pen device and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
