Vanilla pod kit IQOS in Nouméa: the review shortlist
Vanilla in Nouméa: 12 units tested over 4 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Delivery, returns and what 6–12 business days really means
The honest read on vanilla: 12 units through the same routine over 4 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
We run vanilla the same way in Nouméa: same pod kit, same 4 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you only read one line: the pod kit you buy decides how long vanilla tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a vanilla pod kit really costs in Nouméa
We run vanilla the same way in Nouméa: same pod kit, same 4 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested vanilla in a pod kit
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Spare parts availability for pod kit in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pod kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where vanilla goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long vanilla in Nouméa survives.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Buying the cheapest pod kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
