Vanilla RDA IQOS in Nouméa: the flat shortlist
Vanilla in Nouméa: 24 units tested over 9 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Coil life, liquid cost and the vanilla habit
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
The short version: vanilla in Nouméa works if the RDA, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a vanilla RDA really costs in Nouméa
The honest read on vanilla: 24 units through the same routine over 9 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested vanilla in a RDA
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Stock depth: 24 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Batch code and production date, so a vanilla bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a RDA arrives sealed but wrong.
Where vanilla goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why vanilla tastes flat after two days.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long vanilla in Nouméa survives.
- Buying the cheapest RDA available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.

Frequently asked questions
Do you ship tracked orders to New Caledonia?
Yes, tracked to 6–12 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Why does vanilla taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the RDA units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the vanilla blend itself harsh.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On vanilla the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF3.37 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
