Vanilla RDA IQOS in Nouméa: the order shortlist
Vanilla in Nouméa: 8 units tested over 9 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
What the label on Vanilla is allowed to say
Vanilla prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.41 per 10 ml.
Vanilla sounds like one product. It is not: a RDA running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
The short version: vanilla in Nouméa works if the RDA, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a vanilla RDA really costs in Nouméa
Vanilla in Nouméa reaches the shelf in RDA formats, and the pre-order ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested vanilla in a RDA
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Spare parts availability for RDA in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Batch code and production date, so a vanilla bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where vanilla goes wrong
- Treating the advertised XPF64 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.41 per 10 ml.
- Buying the cheapest RDA available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long vanilla in Nouméa survives.
The rules that apply here
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance.
Packaging for vanilla in New Caledonia must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should vanilla start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a RDA.
Why does vanilla taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the RDA units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the vanilla blend itself harsh.
How long does vanilla in a RDA last?
In Nouméa we measured 9 to 8 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
