Vanilla refill pack IQOS in Nouméa: the budget shortlist — Iqosfrenchpolynesia
Vanilla in Nouméa: 12 units tested over 3 weeks, refill pack formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Choosing a refill pack for vanilla
Vanilla in Nouméa reaches the shelf in refill pack formats, and the budget ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
If you are looking at vanilla in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the refill pack you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
The short version: vanilla in Nouméa works if the refill pack, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a vanilla refill pack really costs in Nouméa
Vanilla prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF1.94 per 10 ml.
How we tested vanilla in a refill pack
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the refill pack that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Spare parts availability for refill pack in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every vanilla bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Stock depth: 12 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where vanilla goes wrong
- Treating the advertised XPF66 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF1.94 per 10 ml.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why vanilla tastes flat after two days.
- Ignoring the batch date on a refill pack and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
