Vanilla squonk mod IQOS in Nouméa: the compare shortlist — Iqosfrenchpolynesia
Vanilla in Nouméa: 22 units tested over 4 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Where buyers go wrong with vanilla in New Caledonia
Vanilla in a squonk mod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Vanilla in Nouméa reaches the shelf in squonk mod formats, and the compared ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
If you only read one line: the squonk mod you buy decides how long vanilla tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a vanilla squonk mod really costs in Nouméa
Vanilla prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.72 per 10 ml.
How we tested vanilla in a squonk mod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Stock depth: 22 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Batch code and production date, so a vanilla bottle turned in 4 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a squonk mod arrives sealed but wrong.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
Where vanilla goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest squonk mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long vanilla in Nouméa survives.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
