Vanilla starter kit IQOS in Nouméa: the best shortlist — Iqosfrenchpolynesia
Vanilla in Nouméa: 20 units tested over 9 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Ordering IQOS to Nouméa: the practical version
Vanilla prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.06 per 10 ml.
Ordering into Nouméa usually means waiting 6–12 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
If you only read one line: the starter kit you buy decides how long vanilla tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a vanilla starter kit really costs in Nouméa
A vanilla starter kit from the best options in New Caledonia costs about XPF2.06 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested vanilla in a starter kit
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every vanilla bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Batch code and production date, so a vanilla bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Stock depth: 20 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where vanilla goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why vanilla tastes flat after two days.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long vanilla in Nouméa survives.
- Treating the advertised XPF32 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.06 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to New Caledonia need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should vanilla start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a starter kit.
Why does vanilla taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the starter kit units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the vanilla blend itself harsh.
How long does vanilla in a starter kit last?
In Nouméa we measured 9 to 20 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
