Blackcurrant 100 ml bottle IQOS in Nouméa: the guide shortlist — Iqosfrenchpolynesia
Blackcurrant in Nouméa: 24 units tested over 8 weeks, 100 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How to tell a good 100 ml bottle from a repack
We run blackcurrant the same way in Nouméa: same 100 ml bottle, same 8 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Most people searching IQOS in New Caledonia are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
Below is the run we did for this search: 24 units, 100 ml bottle, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a blackcurrant 100 ml bottle really costs in Nouméa
Blackcurrant prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.77 per 10 ml.
How we tested blackcurrant in a 100 ml bottle
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Coil type inside the 100 ml bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Batch code and production date, so a blackcurrant bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every blackcurrant bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
Where blackcurrant goes wrong
- Mixing blackcurrant with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Buying the cheapest 100 ml bottle available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ignoring the batch date on a 100 ml bottle and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
