Candy pen device IQOS in Nouméa: the review shortlist — Iqosfrenchpolynesia
Candy in Nouméa: 13 units tested over 2 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Choosing a pen device for candy
Candy sounds like one product. It is not: a pen device running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
The honest read on candy: 13 units through the same routine over 2 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the pen device you buy decides how long candy tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a candy pen device really costs in Nouméa
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
How we tested candy in a pen device
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Batch code and production date, so a candy bottle turned in 2 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Stock depth: 13 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every candy bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
Where candy goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest pen device available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Mixing candy with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Treating the advertised XPF33 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.8 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance. Shipping of nicotine to New Caledonia runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Wholesale lines to New Caledonia need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
Do you ship tracked orders to New Caledonia?
Yes, tracked to 6–12 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On candy the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF2.8 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
What nicotine strength should candy start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a pen device.
