Ordering IQOS to Nouméa: the practical version
A salted pen device from the pre-order options in New Caledonia costs about XPF1.98 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Salted in Nouméa reaches the shelf in pen device formats, and the pre-order ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
Below is the run we did for this search: 17 units, pen device, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a salted pen device really costs in Nouméa
Salted pen device reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 17 units and 9 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested salted in a pen device
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every salted bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Coil type inside the pen device, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pen device arrives sealed but wrong.
Where salted goes wrong
- Mixing salted with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Treating the advertised XPF43 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF1.98 per 10 ml.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.

Frequently asked questions
Is salted legal to sell in New Caledonia?
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance.
What nicotine strength should salted start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a pen device.
How long does salted in a pen device last?
In Nouméa we measured 9 to 17 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
