How we tested Candy starter kit here
Candy starter kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 23 units and 2 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Candy in Nouméa reaches the shelf in starter kit formats, and the compared ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
The short version: candy in Nouméa works if the starter kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a candy starter kit really costs in Nouméa
Candy starter kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 23 units and 2 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested candy in a starter kit
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Stock depth: 23 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where candy goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Chasing a discount on a starter kit that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Mixing candy with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance. Shipping of nicotine to New Caledonia runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a starter kit cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF2.55 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF68 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
What nicotine strength should candy start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a starter kit.
How long does candy in a starter kit last?
In Nouméa we measured 2 to 23 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
