Caramel 30 ml shortfill IQOS in Nouméa: the cheap shortlist — Iqosfrenchpolynesia
Caramel in Nouméa: 11 units tested over 6 weeks, 30 ml shortfill formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Delivery, returns and what 6–12 business days really means
A caramel 30 ml shortfill from the cheapest options in New Caledonia costs about XPF3.54 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
Below is the run we did for this search: 11 units, 30 ml shortfill, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a caramel 30 ml shortfill really costs in Nouméa
Caramel in a 30 ml shortfill is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested caramel in a 30 ml shortfill
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a 30 ml shortfill arrives sealed but wrong.
- Spare parts availability for 30 ml shortfill in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
Where caramel goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long caramel in Nouméa survives.
- Mixing caramel with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Treating the advertised XPF57 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF3.54 per 10 ml.
