Frozen cartomizer IQOS in Nouméa: the guide shortlist — Iqosfrenchpolynesia
Frozen in Nouméa: 8 units tested over 9 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Where buyers go wrong with frozen in New Caledonia
Frozen in a cartomizer is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
The honest read on frozen: 8 units through the same routine over 9 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
The short version: frozen in Nouméa works if the cartomizer, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a frozen cartomizer really costs in Nouméa
Frozen in a cartomizer is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested frozen in a cartomizer
- Pick the cartomizer that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every frozen bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Spare parts availability for cartomizer in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
Where frozen goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long frozen in Nouméa survives.
- Treating the advertised XPF33 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.91 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On frozen the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF2.91 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
Why does frozen taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the cartomizer units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the frozen blend itself harsh.
How long does frozen in a cartomizer last?
In Nouméa we measured 9 to 8 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
