Caramel RDA IQOS in Nouméa: the review shortlist
Caramel in Nouméa: 14 units tested over 9 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
What the label on Caramel is allowed to say
The honest read on caramel: 14 units through the same routine over 9 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
We run caramel the same way in Nouméa: same RDA, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Below is the run we did for this search: 14 units, RDA, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a caramel RDA really costs in Nouméa
A caramel RDA from the reviewed options in New Caledonia costs about XPF2.78 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested caramel in a RDA
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a RDA arrives sealed but wrong.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every caramel bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
Where caramel goes wrong
- Mixing caramel with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why caramel tastes flat after two days.
