Coconut mesh tank IQOS in Nouméa: the cheap shortlist — Iqosfrenchpolynesia
Coconut in Nouméa: 15 units tested over 4 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Where buyers go wrong with coconut in New Caledonia
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
A coconut mesh tank from the cheapest options in New Caledonia costs about XPF3.59 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
The short version: coconut in Nouméa works if the mesh tank, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a coconut mesh tank really costs in Nouméa
Ordering into Nouméa usually means waiting 6–12 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
How we tested coconut in a mesh tank
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Coil type inside the mesh tank, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where coconut goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a mesh tank and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Chasing a discount on a mesh tank that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why coconut tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance. Shipping of nicotine to New Caledonia runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Packaging for coconut in New Caledonia must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
How long does coconut in a mesh tank last?
In Nouméa we measured 4 to 15 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
How much does a mesh tank cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF3.59 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF63 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does coconut taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the mesh tank units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the coconut blend itself harsh.
