Coconut pod kit IQOS in Nouméa: the review shortlist
Coconut in Nouméa: 19 units tested over 6 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Choosing a pod kit for coconut
We run coconut the same way in Nouméa: same pod kit, same 6 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Coconut in Nouméa reaches the shelf in pod kit formats, and the reviewed ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
The short version: coconut in Nouméa works if the pod kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a coconut pod kit really costs in Nouméa
If you are looking at coconut in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the pod kit you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested coconut in a pod kit
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the pod kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Stock depth: 19 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Batch code and production date, so a coconut bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Coil type inside the pod kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where coconut goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why coconut tastes flat after two days.
- Ignoring the batch date on a pod kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance. Shipping of nicotine to New Caledonia runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Packaging for coconut in New Caledonia must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
Why does coconut taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pod kit units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the coconut blend itself harsh.
Can I order IQOS online in New Caledonia?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 6–12 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
How long does coconut in a pod kit last?
In Nouméa we measured 6 to 19 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
