Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
Ordering into Nouméa usually means waiting 6–12 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
We run coffee the same way in Nouméa: same mesh tank, same 6 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The short version: coffee in Nouméa works if the mesh tank, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a coffee mesh tank really costs in Nouméa
We run coffee the same way in Nouméa: same mesh tank, same 6 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested coffee in a mesh tank
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Spare parts availability for mesh tank in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Stock depth: 8 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a mesh tank arrives sealed but wrong.
Where coffee goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Chasing a discount on a mesh tank that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Ignoring the batch date on a mesh tank and discovering the listed price was for old stock.

Frequently asked questions
Is coffee legal to sell in New Caledonia?
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance.
How much does a mesh tank cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF2.26 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF66 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does coffee taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the mesh tank units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the coffee blend itself harsh.
