Honey sub-ohm kit IQOS in Nouméa: the flat shortlist
Honey in Nouméa: 17 units tested over 9 weeks, sub-ohm kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Choosing a sub-ohm kit for honey
Honey prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.05 per 10 ml.
Honey in a sub-ohm kit is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
The short version: honey in Nouméa works if the sub-ohm kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a honey sub-ohm kit really costs in Nouméa
A honey sub-ohm kit from the flat-rate options in New Caledonia costs about XPF2.05 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested honey in a sub-ohm kit
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the sub-ohm kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Spare parts availability for sub-ohm kit in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Coil type inside the sub-ohm kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where honey goes wrong
- Mixing honey with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Treating the advertised XPF67 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.05 per 10 ml.
