What the label on Coffee is allowed to say
If you are looking at coffee in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the squonk mod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
The honest read on coffee: 14 units through the same routine over 8 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
The short version: coffee in Nouméa works if the squonk mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a coffee squonk mod really costs in Nouméa
Most people searching IQOS in New Caledonia are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
How we tested coffee in a squonk mod
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Spare parts availability for squonk mod in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a squonk mod arrives sealed but wrong.
- Batch code and production date, so a coffee bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Coil type inside the squonk mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where coffee goes wrong
- Mixing coffee with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why coffee tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here

Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the squonk mod units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the coffee blend itself harsh.

How much does a squonk mod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF3.31 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF62 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
