Ordering IQOS to Nouméa: the practical version
We run dessert the same way in Nouméa: same 10 ml bottle, same 8 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you are looking at dessert in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the 10 ml bottle you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
If you only read one line: the 10 ml bottle you buy decides how long dessert tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a dessert 10 ml bottle really costs in Nouméa
Dessert prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF3.15 per 10 ml.
How we tested dessert in a 10 ml bottle
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the 10 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a 10 ml bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every dessert bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
Where dessert goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Treating the advertised XPF49 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF3.15 per 10 ml.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why dessert tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
