Dessert starter kit IQOS in Nouméa: the budget shortlist — Iqosfrenchpolynesia
Dessert in Nouméa: 21 units tested over 6 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How we tested Dessert starter kit here
Dessert prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF3.3 per 10 ml.
Ordering into Nouméa usually means waiting 6–12 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
Below is the run we did for this search: 21 units, starter kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a dessert starter kit really costs in Nouméa
Dessert in Nouméa reaches the shelf in starter kit formats, and the budget ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested dessert in a starter kit
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every dessert bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Batch code and production date, so a dessert bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
Where dessert goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a starter kit that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Mixing dessert with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Buying the cheapest starter kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Wholesale lines to New Caledonia need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
Do you ship tracked orders to New Caledonia?
Yes, tracked to 6–12 business days, with the same-day cut-off at 14:00. Bulk orders get an import note attached before dispatch.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On dessert the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF3.3 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
What nicotine strength should dessert start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a starter kit.
