Frozen box mod IQOS in Nouméa: the compare shortlist
Frozen in Nouméa: 8 units tested over 5 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
What the label on Frozen is allowed to say
A frozen box mod from the compared options in New Caledonia costs about XPF3.15 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Frozen sounds like one product. It is not: a box mod running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Below is the run we did for this search: 8 units, box mod, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a frozen box mod really costs in Nouméa
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
How we tested frozen in a box mod
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Coil type inside the box mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Spare parts availability for box mod in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every frozen bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
Where frozen goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a box mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Treating the advertised XPF59 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF3.15 per 10 ml.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.

Frequently asked questions
Why does frozen taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the box mod units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the frozen blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should frozen start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a box mod.
Is frozen legal to sell in New Caledonia?
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance.
