Grapey nicotine salt bottle IQOS in Nouméa: the cheap shortlist — Iqosfrenchpolynesia
Grapey in Nouméa: 10 units tested over 5 weeks, nicotine salt bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Where buyers go wrong with grapey in New Caledonia
Grapey prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF3.46 per 10 ml.
Grapey in a nicotine salt bottle is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
The short version: grapey in Nouméa works if the nicotine salt bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a grapey nicotine salt bottle really costs in Nouméa
Grapey in a nicotine salt bottle is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested grapey in a nicotine salt bottle
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the nicotine salt bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Coil type inside the nicotine salt bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Stock depth: 10 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where grapey goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why grapey tastes flat after two days.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Treating the advertised XPF43 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF3.46 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance. Shipping of nicotine to New Caledonia runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Wholesale lines to New Caledonia need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
How long does grapey in a nicotine salt bottle last?
In Nouméa we measured 5 to 10 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
How much does a nicotine salt bottle cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF3.46 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF43 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does grapey taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the nicotine salt bottle units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the grapey blend itself harsh.
