Graphite cartomizer IQOS in Nouméa: the order shortlist — Iqosfrenchpolynesia
Graphite in Nouméa: 20 units tested over 6 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Coil life, liquid cost and the graphite habit
Graphite prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.05 per 10 ml.
If you are looking at graphite in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the cartomizer you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
The short version: graphite in Nouméa works if the cartomizer, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a graphite cartomizer really costs in Nouméa
Graphite cartomizer reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 20 units and 6 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested graphite in a cartomizer
- Pick the cartomizer that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Batch code and production date, so a graphite bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a cartomizer arrives sealed but wrong.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Spare parts availability for cartomizer in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
Where graphite goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ignoring the batch date on a cartomizer and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Chasing a discount on a cartomizer that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.

Frequently asked questions
How long does graphite in a cartomizer last?
In Nouméa we measured 6 to 20 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
What nicotine strength should graphite start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a cartomizer.
How much does a cartomizer cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF2.05 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF36 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
