Guava vape pen IQOS in Nouméa: the cheap shortlist
Guava in Nouméa: 16 units tested over 9 weeks, vape pen formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Coil life, liquid cost and the guava habit
The honest read on guava: 16 units through the same routine over 9 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
We run guava the same way in Nouméa: same vape pen, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you only read one line: the vape pen you buy decides how long guava tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.

How we tested guava in a vape pen
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the vape pen that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a vape pen arrives sealed but wrong.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Spare parts availability for vape pen in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
Where guava goes wrong
- Treating the advertised XPF67 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF3.53 per 10 ml.
- Mixing guava with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Buying the cheapest vape pen available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
