Guava zero-nicotine bottle IQOS in Nouméa: the deals shortlist — Iqosfrenchpolynesia
Guava in Nouméa: 21 units tested over 3 weeks, zero-nicotine bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How to tell a good zero-nicotine bottle from a repack
Guava prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF3.59 per 10 ml.
A guava zero-nicotine bottle from the discounted options in New Caledonia costs about XPF3.59 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
The short version: guava in Nouméa works if the zero-nicotine bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a guava zero-nicotine bottle really costs in Nouméa
If you are looking at guava in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the zero-nicotine bottle you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested guava in a zero-nicotine bottle
- Pick the zero-nicotine bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Coil type inside the zero-nicotine bottle, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Stock depth: 21 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Batch code and production date, so a guava bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where guava goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a zero-nicotine bottle and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long guava in Nouméa survives.
- Treating the advertised XPF41 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF3.59 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance.
Packaging for guava in New Caledonia must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a zero-nicotine bottle cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF3.59 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF41 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does guava taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the zero-nicotine bottle units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the guava blend itself harsh.
How long does guava in a zero-nicotine bottle last?
In Nouméa we measured 3 to 21 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
