Guava zero-nicotine bottle IQOS in Nouméa: the guide shortlist — Iqosfrenchpolynesia
Guava in Nouméa: 24 units tested over 3 weeks, zero-nicotine bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Coil life, liquid cost and the guava habit
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
Guava in a zero-nicotine bottle is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
The short version: guava in Nouméa works if the zero-nicotine bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a guava zero-nicotine bottle really costs in Nouméa
Guava prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.67 per 10 ml.
How we tested guava in a zero-nicotine bottle
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the zero-nicotine bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a zero-nicotine bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every guava bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
Where guava goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a zero-nicotine bottle that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Buying the cheapest zero-nicotine bottle available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Treating the advertised XPF62 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.67 per 10 ml.

Not automatically. On guava the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF2.67 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
Why does guava taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the zero-nicotine bottle units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the guava blend itself harsh.
