Coil life, liquid cost and the honey habit

If you only read one line: the 10 ml bottle you buy decides how long honey tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a honey 10 ml bottle really costs in Nouméa
We run honey the same way in Nouméa: same 10 ml bottle, same 5 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested honey in a 10 ml bottle
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the 10 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Batch code and production date, so a honey bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a 10 ml bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where honey goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Buying the cheapest 10 ml bottle available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Mixing honey with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
