Iced pen device IQOS in Nouméa: the cheap shortlist
Iced in Nouméa: 19 units tested over 6 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How we tested Iced pen device here
We run iced the same way in Nouméa: same pen device, same 6 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Iced in a pen device is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
If you only read one line: the pen device you buy decides how long iced tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a iced pen device really costs in Nouméa
Ordering into Nouméa usually means waiting 6–12 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
How we tested iced in a pen device
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Stock depth: 19 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every iced bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Coil type inside the pen device, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pen device arrives sealed but wrong.
Where iced goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest pen device available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why iced tastes flat after two days.
- Treating the advertised XPF59 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF3.39 per 10 ml.
