Iced RDA IQOS in Nouméa: the compare shortlist
Iced in Nouméa: 20 units tested over 8 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Delivery, returns and what 6–12 business days really means
The honest read on iced: 20 units through the same routine over 8 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Iced in a RDA is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
The short version: iced in Nouméa works if the RDA, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a iced RDA really costs in Nouméa
Iced in Nouméa reaches the shelf in RDA formats, and the compared ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested iced in a RDA
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Spare parts availability for RDA in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Coil type inside the RDA, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every iced bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Batch code and production date, so a iced bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where iced goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a RDA and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Chasing a discount on a RDA that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On iced the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF1.63 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
Why does iced taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the RDA units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the iced blend itself harsh.
