Iced starter kit IQOS in Nouméa: the flat shortlist
Iced in Nouméa: 20 units tested over 8 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Where buyers go wrong with iced in New Caledonia
A iced starter kit from the flat-rate options in New Caledonia costs about XPF2.59 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Most people searching IQOS in New Caledonia are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
Below is the run we did for this search: 20 units, starter kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a iced starter kit really costs in Nouméa
We run iced the same way in Nouméa: same starter kit, same 8 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested iced in a starter kit
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Batch code and production date, so a iced bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every iced bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
- Coil type inside the starter kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where iced goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why iced tastes flat after two days.
- Treating the advertised XPF61 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.59 per 10 ml.

Frequently asked questions
Is iced legal to sell in New Caledonia?
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance.
What nicotine strength should iced start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a starter kit.
How long does iced in a starter kit last?
In Nouméa we measured 8 to 20 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
