Lemon pod kit IQOS in Nouméa: the review shortlist
Lemon in Nouméa: 8 units tested over 7 weeks, pod kit formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Delivery, returns and what 6–12 business days really means
We run lemon the same way in Nouméa: same pod kit, same 7 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
The short version: lemon in Nouméa works if the pod kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a lemon pod kit really costs in Nouméa
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
How we tested lemon in a pod kit
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Spare parts availability for pod kit in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Coil type inside the pod kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every lemon bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
Where lemon goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest pod kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Mixing lemon with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Ignoring the batch date on a pod kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.

Why does lemon taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pod kit units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the lemon blend itself harsh.
