Licorice mesh tank IQOS in Nouméa: the price shortlist — Iqosfrenchpolynesia
Licorice in Nouméa: 9 units tested over 5 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Where buyers go wrong with licorice in New Caledonia
Licorice sounds like one product. It is not: a mesh tank running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
We run licorice the same way in Nouméa: same mesh tank, same 5 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you only read one line: the mesh tank you buy decides how long licorice tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a licorice mesh tank really costs in Nouméa
Licorice prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.25 per 10 ml.
How we tested licorice in a mesh tank
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Batch code and production date, so a licorice bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Stock depth: 9 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Coil type inside the mesh tank, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
Where licorice goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Mixing licorice with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Treating the advertised XPF57 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF2.25 per 10 ml.
