Licorice vape pen IQOS in Nouméa: the best shortlist
Licorice in Nouméa: 7 units tested over 5 weeks, vape pen formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Choosing a vape pen for licorice
The honest read on licorice: 7 units through the same routine over 5 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
If you are looking at licorice in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the vape pen you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
If you only read one line: the vape pen you buy decides how long licorice tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a licorice vape pen really costs in Nouméa
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in New Caledonia. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
How we tested licorice in a vape pen
- Pick the vape pen that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Spare parts availability for vape pen in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
Where licorice goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why licorice tastes flat after two days.
- Mixing licorice with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to New Caledonia need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should licorice start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a vape pen.
How much does a vape pen cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF2.29 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF52 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does licorice taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the vape pen units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the licorice blend itself harsh.
