Lime in Nouméa: 12 units tested over 5 weeks, 30 ml shortfill formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How we tested Lime 30 ml shortfill here
If you are looking at lime in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the 30 ml shortfill you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
We run lime the same way in Nouméa: same 30 ml shortfill, same 5 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The short version: lime in Nouméa works if the 30 ml shortfill, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a lime 30 ml shortfill really costs in Nouméa
Lime in a 30 ml shortfill is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Nouméa the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested lime in a 30 ml shortfill
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the 30 ml shortfill that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Stock depth: 12 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Coil type inside the 30 ml shortfill, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
Where lime goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a 30 ml shortfill that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Buying the cheapest 30 ml shortfill available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ignoring the batch date on a 30 ml shortfill and discovering the listed price was for old stock.

Frequently asked questions
Why does lime taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the 30 ml shortfill units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the lime blend itself harsh.
Can I order IQOS online in New Caledonia?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 6–12 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
How long does lime in a 30 ml shortfill last?
In Nouméa we measured 5 to 12 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
