Lime squonk mod IQOS in Nouméa: the price shortlist
Lime in Nouméa: 14 units tested over 8 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Ordering IQOS to Nouméa: the practical version
Lime prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF3.45 per 10 ml.
We run lime the same way in Nouméa: same squonk mod, same 8 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you only read one line: the squonk mod you buy decides how long lime tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a lime squonk mod really costs in Nouméa
Lime in Nouméa reaches the shelf in squonk mod formats, and the value ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested lime in a squonk mod
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Stock depth: 14 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Spare parts availability for squonk mod in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
Where lime goes wrong
- Mixing lime with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why lime tastes flat after two days.
- Buying the cheapest squonk mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for lime in New Caledonia must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance.

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On lime the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF3.45 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
How long does lime in a squonk mod last?
In Nouméa we measured 8 to 14 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
What nicotine strength should lime start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a squonk mod.
