Melon 100 ml bottle IQOS in Nouméa: the cheap shortlist — Iqosfrenchpolynesia
Melon in Nouméa: 8 units tested over 5 weeks, 100 ml bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
The honest read on melon: 8 units through the same routine over 5 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
A melon 100 ml bottle from the cheapest options in New Caledonia costs about XPF2.47 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
The short version: melon in Nouméa works if the 100 ml bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a melon 100 ml bottle really costs in Nouméa
If you are looking at melon in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the 100 ml bottle you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested melon in a 100 ml bottle
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the 100 ml bottle that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a 100 ml bottle arrives sealed but wrong.
- Stock depth: 8 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Batch code and production date, so a melon bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where melon goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Buying the cheapest 100 ml bottle available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
