Melon mesh tank IQOS in Nouméa: the review shortlist
Melon in Nouméa: 21 units tested over 5 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Delivery, returns and what 6–12 business days really means
Melon mesh tank reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 21 units and 5 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Ordering into Nouméa usually means waiting 6–12 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
If you only read one line: the mesh tank you buy decides how long melon tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a melon mesh tank really costs in Nouméa
The honest read on melon: 21 units through the same routine over 5 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested melon in a mesh tank
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Coil type inside the mesh tank, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Batch code and production date, so a melon bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where melon goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Chasing a discount on a mesh tank that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.

Frequently asked questions
How long does melon in a mesh tank last?
In Nouméa we measured 5 to 21 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Why does melon taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the mesh tank units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the melon blend itself harsh.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On melon the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF3.18 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
