Ordering IQOS to Nouméa: the practical version
Passionfruit in Nouméa reaches the shelf in starter kit formats, and the pre-order ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
Passionfruit prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.0 per 10 ml.
The short version: passionfruit in Nouméa works if the starter kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a passionfruit starter kit really costs in Nouméa
Passionfruit prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Nouméa that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within XPF2.0 per 10 ml.
How we tested passionfruit in a starter kit
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in New Caledonia, not a suggestion.
- Spare parts availability for starter kit in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Stock depth: 9 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every passionfruit bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
Where passionfruit goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest starter kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in New Caledonia accept nicotine freight.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why passionfruit tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
