Pear cartomizer IQOS in Nouméa: the compare shortlist — Iqosfrenchpolynesia
Pear in Nouméa: 12 units tested over 2 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
How we tested Pear cartomizer here
Pear sounds like one product. It is not: a cartomizer running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
If you are looking at pear in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the cartomizer you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
The short version: pear in Nouméa works if the cartomizer, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a pear cartomizer really costs in Nouméa
Pear cartomizer reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 12 units and 2 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested pear in a cartomizer
- Pick the cartomizer that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Stock depth: 12 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a cartomizer arrives sealed but wrong.
- Spare parts availability for cartomizer in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every pear bottle shipped into New Caledonia.
Where pear goes wrong
- Treating the advertised XPF53 entry kit as the real cost when refills run XPF1.83 per 10 ml.
- Ignoring the batch date on a cartomizer and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Mixing pear with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to New Caledonia need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Retail sales in New Caledonia sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should pear start at?
Start at whatever New Caledonia allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a cartomizer.
Is pear legal to sell in New Caledonia?
New Caledonia applies French-language labelling at customs clearance.
How long does pear in a cartomizer last?
In Nouméa we measured 2 to 12 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
