Pear mesh tank IQOS in Nouméa: the guide shortlist
Pear in Nouméa: 13 units tested over 2 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Where buyers go wrong with pear in New Caledonia
A pear mesh tank from the starter options in New Caledonia costs about XPF3.59 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Pear in Nouméa reaches the shelf in mesh tank formats, and the starter ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
Below is the run we did for this search: 13 units, mesh tank, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a pear mesh tank really costs in Nouméa
Pear sounds like one product. It is not: a mesh tank running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested pear in a mesh tank
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Spare parts availability for mesh tank in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a mesh tank arrives sealed but wrong.
Where pear goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Chasing a discount on a mesh tank that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Ignoring the batch date on a mesh tank and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here

Frequently asked questions
How much does a mesh tank cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Nouméa: about XPF3.59 per 10 ml liquid plus XPF58 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On pear the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF3.59 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
Why does pear taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the mesh tank units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the pear blend itself harsh.
