Plain pen device IQOS in Nouméa: the online shortlist — Iqosfrenchpolynesia
Plain in Nouméa: 22 units tested over 3 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for New Caledonia.
Delivery, returns and what 6–12 business days really means
A plain pen device from the online options in New Caledonia costs about XPF2.9 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Plain pen device reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 22 units and 3 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
If you only read one line: the pen device you buy decides how long plain tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a plain pen device really costs in Nouméa
If you are looking at plain in New Caledonia, the first question is not strength. It is whether the pen device you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested plain in a pen device
- Choose strength against the ceiling in New Caledonia, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Spare parts availability for pen device in New Caledonia, since tanks and pods go first.
- Batch code and production date, so a plain bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pen device arrives sealed but wrong.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where plain goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a pen device that then needs an adapter nobody in New Caledonia stocks.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why plain tastes flat after two days.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long plain in Nouméa survives.

Frequently asked questions
How long does plain in a pen device last?
In Nouméa we measured 3 to 22 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Why does plain taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pen device units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the plain blend itself harsh.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On plain the budget price and the premium price can sit within XPF2.9 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
